Respect
We acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the the Ramaytush Ohlone original peoples of the San Francisco peninsula. We humbly bow to the wisdom of all indigenous people all over the world. We ask for forgiveness. We offer reverence and work toward equanimity and respect for all conscious beings on this Earth. May these practices connect us and show us that we are all ONE Love.
The Madhu Theory of the Yogic Tradition is based on the knowledge of the power of Madhu or honey. This yogic teaching shares what all indigenous world wisdom knows and understands: we are all connected, every being on this planet is conscious and connected. The action of one affects all. We are all “in it” together. Welcome.
We are committed to creating a community space that is safe, respectful, fair and inclusive for all. As we work to achieve our mission to bring yoga, health and wellness to our community we reaffirm our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and celebration of all. Each of us is part of this Yoga community.
All students, guests and team members are encouraged to bring their whole true self. Come as you are. We know that individuality is a vital and important part of any thriving community. Everyone is welcome and celebrated here. We are dedicated to creating a safe space for all to practice regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, race, ethnicity, disability, religion, political ideal, or socio-economic status or condition.
One Love
And finally, and perhaps most importantly is our desire to share a love of life itself. All we have is each breath, this moment, and realizing the magic that is available as human beings, living on a fragile yet mighty powerful planet full of love and potential. That spark of love and potential lives and breathes within each of us and it is that which becomes ignited when we smile, relax and stop taking ourselves so seriously.
